What we do
On-site portable appliance testing
QuickPAT visits your premises, tests the appliances that need testing, and leaves you with labels and a report you can show an insurer, landlord, or inspector. We are based in Halifax and cover West Yorkshire.

Landlords & lettings
Help demonstrate that electrical appliances supplied with a tenancy are being maintained in a safe condition.

Schools, hotels & charities
High volumes of kettles, microwaves, IT, kitchen and cleaning equipment — tested, labelled and recorded. Microwave leakage tests are included where you have ovens on site, using the 5 mW/cm² at 50 mm pass limit.
The kit
Tested with a Seaward PrimeTest 350
We use a PrimeTest 350 handheld PAT tester so results are accurate, repeatable and stored digitally. That means faster visits and a proper paper trail, not a clipboard guess.
- Earth continuity
- Insulation resistance (250V / 500V)
- Substitute leakage, PE conductor current and touch current
- IEC lead / power-cord tests and socket wiring checks
- Load measurement and RCD trip time where required

Included with every visit
Pass/fail labels on tested appliances, a clear report, and advice if anything fails. Failed items are left marked so they can be taken out of use.
